Cooltrax wireless (active-RFID) system enables product temperature to be captured and reported automatically in real-time, whether from inside a reefer, a distribution centre or a merchandising cabinet. The system also tracks the location of reefers and products, who has custody and monitors the performance of refrigerated assets.

Via a fully accredited Carrier and Thermo King interface Cooltrax monitors and tracks the temperature and location of refrigerated trailers and reefers using wireless, GPS, cellular mobile networks and Internet-based tracking and monitoring software. For storage, distribution and retail applications, both product and environmental temperatures are reported in real-time.

Cooltrax can also be used to predict the remaining shelf life of products as they pass along the cold chain. This information can then be used to manage the distribution of products according to their remaining shelf-life.
